About Baheya
The Baheya Institution has been named after Mrs. Baheya Wahby, a lady from a prominent Egyptian family who passed away after losing her battle with cancer. During her treatment, Baheya’s family noticed the excessive number of women from low-income families and the suffering they go through being unable to afford the treatment. Since then, they decided to convert her house into a non-profit hospital specialized in early detection, treatment of breast cancer, and psychological support for women using the latest technologies.
Baheya Foundation is the premier destination for women’s health and safety established in 2015 and it consists of 6 floors and devices with a value of 150 million pounds.
Since its launch, the Baheya Hospital has been able to receive more than 171926 women between early examination, rays, and detection of tumors and treatment. Through continuous development and with teamwork, Baheya reached the following rates: More than 3000 ladies monthly detection. More than 18,000 outpatient visits per month. More than 10532 surgeries, more than 64738 chemotherapy sessions, and more than 168613 radiotherapy sessions since 2015.
