Sheikha/ Azza Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah is Our Honorary President in 2022
We are proud to announce that Sheikha/ Azza Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Founder and Chairperson of Al-Sidra Association for the Psychological Care of Cancer Patients in the State of Kuwait – is the Honorary President of the worldwide campaign “Hope Giver” in its second edition for the second time in a row 2022.
Sheikha/ Azza Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah received the opening speech of the campaign on 21 October 2022 in France, at the 2nd International Conference on Health and Sports at Pole Molière in Les Mureaux. The conference will take place in the presence of the city government, the biggest French associations and major actors in the research and treatment of cancer and chronic diseases (such as Gustave Roussy Institute).
It is noteworthy that Sheikha/ Azza Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Founder and Chairperson of the Al-Sidra Association for Psychological Care for Cancer Patients in the State of Kuwait and the First Honorary President of the worldwide campaign “Hope Giver”, received the Humanitarian Action Award for the Gulf Cooperation Council countries in its sixth 2022 session.
The worldwide campaign “Hope Giver” was launched in 2021 from Geneva, Switzerland and reached more than 1.5 million people, by setting up and organizing 150 charitable events inside and outside Egypt, with the participation of volunteers and organizations from more than 10 countries around the world. Al-Sidra Association for Psychological Care for Cancer Patients in the State of Kuwait joined with many activities during breast cancer awareness month in 2021.
