Hope Giver Open Day at CFC's "The Marquee" Theatre

Cairo Festival City (CFC), an affiliate of Egypt’s leading real estate developer, Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate (AFGRE), hailed its official sponsorship of the Hope Giver Open Day under the slogan, “A Spark of Hope Can Change Everything”.

The event was launched through an Open Day inaugurated at CFC’s “The Marquee Theatre”, on October 15th. CFC’s sponsorship comes in line with AFGRE’s prioritization of its corporate social responsibility through ultimately supporting the impactful role of such campaigns that touch people’s lives.

Founder and CEO of the ‘Hope Giver’ Campaign, tennis player Anwar Elkamony, expressed his gratitude for collaborating with AFGRE, saying:

So far, the campaign has 1.5 million followers and 2,400 participants, along with participants and supporters in 14 countries. Bahaa Elbrolosy, Hope Giver Ambassador and founder of Sustain-X, led a series of recreational and sports activities to boost the morale of all attendees, who were encouraged to believe in their abilities to achieve their goals. The activities included networking circles aimed at sharing attendees’ experiences, dreams and goals toward a better future, as well as a trivia game that included historical, artistic, and scientific questions.

Afterwards, the audience enjoyed a magic show by Moustapha Berjaoui – a Lebanese-Egyptian corporate Mind Illusionist & Hypnotist. Berjaoui’s magic took him around the world performing for the top international corporations, creating magic & consulting for magicians. He is the first Egyptian to receive two of the prestigious Merlin Awards.

The event was highlighted by the presence of a very special guest: Captain Ahmed Hassan, Egypt’s fourth most-capped international male footballer. Captain Ahmed shared his inspiring story, gave precious advices to the kids who were enraptured by his presence and answered their questions.

Moreover, the Open Day witnessed a special presentation of some influencers and public figures, who delivered a motivational speech to the attendees. Those influencers included; player of the Egyptian national team and world champion in kung fu and kickboxing Captain Ahmed Abdellatif; the first deaf Egyptian female doctor in the world Dr. Fadia Abdelgawad; the Olympic medalist Giana Farouk; Eng. Maged Hamdy the Member of Board of the Baheya Foundation; the renowned presenter Hany Hathout; Abdel Rahman Ibrahim, one of the social media stars, also known as “Abdul”; Mariam Al-Nagdy, singer in “Al Nour Wal Amal” team; Heba Ezz Elarab the first Egyptian broadcaster on wheelchair; inspiring artist Nancy Atef; Mostafa El-Araby business development coordinator at Alhassan Foundation and Waleed Moustafa the popular content creator. Cancer survivor and human performance specialist Omar Sharawy, who is currently undergoing treatment, has sent a special message to the audience mentioning the importance of hope in our lives that gives us the ability to overcome life obstacles.
