Thank you Mr. Anwar Elkamony, CEO of the Hope Giver Campaign, for creating this inspiring community, spreading hope and connecting people from everywhere.”
David Karasek (Switzerland)
David Karasek is a former Olympic swimmer for Switzerland. He competed in the 2012 Olympic Games in London. He’s also a 10-time Swiss swimming champion, a multiple-time medley record holder and a former member of the swimming team for the Virginia Cavaliers in the USA.
When his swimming career ended, David could not recreate the success that he had as a swimmer in the business world. He spent more than five years working in wealth management and banking firms in Zürich. He was so used to getting immediate and direct feedback from sports, so he never fully developed that mechanism to cope with the more complex and indirect nature of the workforce. After several years of David feeling powerless, he gave up his need for control and thereby created the space for his intuition to emerge.
Nowadays he helps professional athletes and their coaches to stop overthinking and prepare for the grounds for intense peak performance experience. David recalls a particular need for help among sporting professionals that prompted him to become a mindset coach and create his company.
David also proves mindset and mental strength are the true factors for success, not just for athletes but for everyone. He offers a unique system of how to build and transform your mindset for success and hosted a series of powerful video lessons “How to build HOPE from within” specially for the Hope Giver campaign in 2022.

Jérémy de Champris (Japan)
Jérémy de Champris is a French illustrator & music composer living in Tokyo. Originally from Paris, he moved to Dubai (UAE) in 2009 for studying. Playing electric guitar since the age of 10, he also entered a blues/rock band as their bass guitarist.
On November 11th, 2014 Jérémy survived a terrible road accident while driving his motorbike. He fell into a coma and woke up after 5 weeks, having undergone 20 surgeries including 15 brain surgeries. Double vision, unilateral hearing loss and taste and smell disorders… At 21 years old, right at the dawn of life – in a wheelchair.
Left with no choice but to accept this new reality, Jérémy switched to another skill he always had: drawing. Then the idea was born: to start life from scratch by drawing in Japan – the country he dreamed to visit since his early childhood.
He started practicing walking on crutches without using his wheelchair as much as possible. After a year and a half of hard work every day, he was finally able to stand up again on his own two feet!
In September 2018, Jérémy left Dubai for Tokyo alone. Since then, he has been living and studying art in Japan. He has become a role model and inspiration for many people around the world, particularly for the Hope Giver campaign in 2022. For the Closing Ceremony, he painted “Hope,” an amazing work of art sharing it with the campaign among his Japanese classmates.
